Manhood Through Boxing Programme at The Edge Youth Hub every Wednesday (Hackney)

For over 5 years, MAG and Young Hackney have been working together to support young people across Hackney — helping boys build confidence, discipline, emotional strength, and brotherhood in a world that often teaches them to hide how they feel.

We’re excited to continue our Manhood Through Boxing programme at The Edge Youth Hub every Wednesday from 6:00pm–8:30pm

This is more than boxing.

Yes, young people will learn fitness, self-defence, focus, discipline, and control — but they’ll also take part in real conversations around manhood, pressure, emotions, respect, identity, and life choices.

Too many boys are carrying pressure in silence.
Too many young people are learning manhood from social media, road culture, or pain.

MAG exists to interrupt that cycle.

Through mentoring, movement, safe-space discussions, and brotherhood, we aim to help young people become healthier, safer, stronger versions of themselves.

Sessions include:
🥊 Boxing & fitness
🧠 Mentoring & emotional wellbeing
🔥 Confidence & resilience building
🌊 Safe-space discussions
🌍 Brotherhood, leadership & growth

📍 Location: The Edge Youth Hub (Hackney area)
🕕 Every Wednesday | 6:00pm – 8:30pm
👥 Ages: 13–19

If you know a young person who could benefit from structure, guidance, community, and positive male role models, please speak to staff or mentors about joining.

Sometimes a boxing glove becomes a conversation starter.
Sometimes a safe space changes a life.
