Building on the success of last year's Big Lunch, The Great Together will be taking place at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 18th June from 12pm - 6pm, joining the nationwide event in partnership with the Jo Cox Foundation to bring communities together to celebrate connections and commonality.
Come to the Park and celebrate London’s diverse communities with live music on the main stage, world class dance performances from Sadler’s Wells and an area dedicated to dance and music, where you can try samba, salsa, afro beat dancing, steel pans, African drumming, and listen to community choir’s, local poetry, acoustic performances and lots more.
Performers in the Acoustic Summers Lounge provided by Celebrity Creations Management on the day include Crystal King UK, Kenza Blanka, Pierrot Obi, Afrix and more!
There will be a storytelling area hosted by Stratford Library andDiscover Storytelling centre, along with carnival arts and crafts activities, Face Painting, a huge pirate ship by the Albion’s Kids Show, along with a display of students work form the London College of Fashion. There will also be lots of sports to come and try along with a 60m athletics track!
