When making your own fully effective hand sanitizer at home you must ensure that your serving measurement of alcohol to aloe vera is 2:1 because this will ensure that the alcohol content remains around 60 percent within the product. Reports from the CDC suggest that this is the correct minimum amount to kill most germs.

The three ingredients you will:
1. Isopropyl or Rubbing Alcohol

Equipment you will need:
A clean mixing bowl

A bottle to store your homemade hand sanitizer

We picked up this recipe from Dr Riishi Desai, Chief Medical Officer of Osmosis and Former Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the division of viral disease at the CDC, who suggested the following sanitizer recipe will kill 99.9% of germs after 60 seconds.
