Opportunity: Are you ready for a career in Tech?

Do you know a young person aged between 18-29 who would be keen to take part 12 weeks of FREE training in cloud computing, with jobs available for them to start after the course?

AWS re/Start is a FREE 12 week boot camp programme that has been setup to help kick-start a career in tech for young people, who can then go on to secure a job as a Cloud Support Practitioner. The programme is run in collaboration with Amazon Web Services and Prince’s Trust.

Participants do not need to have any existing experience or qualifications to be a part of this training programme, just a willingness to learn and gain employment.

Free training and qualification 

You’ll learn all you need to be successful in a cloud technology career – from the coding languages & technical knowledge of cloud computing to the employment skills that will help you achieve your potential. At the end of the programme you’ll be ready to take your AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification – and we’ll fund you to do it.

Connect with employers 

At the end of the programme, Generation will connect you with employers hiring for cloud and devops engineer roles. They will support you through your application, and help you transition into your working life.

Free travel and lunch 

If you’re receiving universal credit or other benefits, we’ll work with you to make sure you continue to receive these during the programme.

Covid-19 update – We will launch the programme in line with government social distancing guidance. This may mean the programme launches remotely, and then moves to in-person teaching when this is permitted.

This programme is jointly run by AWS (Amazon Web Services), Prince’s Trust and Generation. The programme is funded by ESF and Power Up.

Eligibility requirements:

- Aged 18-29 years

- Not currently in education, training, or stable employment

- Available for 12 weeks, and ready to start a full time job straight after the course

- Able to travel into central London by each day Excited to launch a tech career!

Starting average salary is £25k-30k
